Cute, old school little diner with great traditional breakfast and hefty portions! Sit at the counter and people watch (like I did) or bring your group and get cozy at a table. The shop is small, but buzzing with people enjoying delicious offerings. The staff was equally wonderful. Everyone was friendly and seemed to share duties as various folks checked in on me and helped me out throughout the meal. I had the Apple Pancake, because it just seemed like the thing to do given the name, but next time id like to try the French toast, which also was highly recommended. Photo description going here because it's too long for the caption: Ham and cheesy eggs, Apple Pancake, hot chocolate. Not pictured: The sense of satisfaction I got from enjoying this meal and then getting that feeling again after reheating the other half on day 2.

Amazing breakfast, we were a party of 6, with 4 teens - everyone loved their food. We went twice in a row and will absolutely return again. We ate chicken fried steak w/eggs, biscuits and gravy, chicken tenders, breakfast burrito, chorizo and eggs, french toast - all delicious. Service is excellent, very friendly and fast and clean.

Awesome place for breakfast! Cute, cozy decor and exceptionally friendly service! I had delicious scrambled eggs. Big deal, you say? Well, yesterday we had breakfast at a fancy (expensive) hotel restaurant where the scrambled eggs were clearly from a box or bag or something. They were slimy and weird. Here, eggs are fresh-cracked and you can really taste the difference. Mark's potatoes with bell pepper and onion are super tasty and my toast was thick slices of whole grain bread. Definitely recommend this sweet spot!

Came in on a late morning Tuesday. Good crowd but no wait. Decor is warm and the front windows are sunny. Hostess brought drink and took order quickly and with a big smile. I ordered the special apple pan scramble, side of bacon, and bagel with cream cheese. The scramble was perfect, loaded with eggs, potatoes, cheese, and veggies and came with a side of salsa. The bacon was crisp perfection. Bagel was nicely toasted and buttered. The server suggested some homemade apple pie with ice cream and whipped cream. I was unable to resist and it was delicious! My only little complaint was the pepper. It was so finely powdered. A couple of pepper mills with big flakes would have made this 9.5/10 into a 10/10!

This place continues to be good years later. Stopped here in 2016 and remembered it being good so we of course had to stop for breakfast when in town again in June 2024. Quaint little spot that was busy even on a Thursday morning. Food was hot and quick, bacon was thick and crispy. Only negative was coffee was not very strong but the food very much made up for it.

Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Food 10/10 Coffee 10/10 We were so impressed with this little gem of a restaurant. It instantly transported me back to simpler times. The restaurant itself was decorated adorably and the waitress that served was was a doll. She was so kind, attentive and just very sweet. That is very hard to find these days. It was refreshing! My husband ordered the protein omelet with a side of apple pancakes. The pancakes were amazing! My daughter ordered a hot pastrami sandwich that she gobbled up. And I ordered the corned beef hash with 2 fried eggs, side of potatoes and hollandaise sauce for an extra splurge. We also all split the best cinnamon roll we have ever had. I mean it was incredible!

An adorable old school breakfast cafe just a few blocks from Whiskey Row, this place is a favorite of locals and a gem for anyone looking for a simple, good breakfast and hot, always-full coffee. The interior is tired and kitschy, but hey - who cares when the food is good? The staff was friendly- today we were served by Ben who was an absolute delight! He gave us all his favorite tips on the menu and didn't steer us wrong. The biscuits and gravy stole the show... holy artery-hardening!we also ordered an omelet that was solid and the special of the day, peach cobbler pancakes. Of everything we ordered, the pancakes were a bit of a disappointment- would have been better to have a pile of peaches on top (we were envious of our table neighbors and their apple pancakes piled high with apple as).
